TELRAD
!
!
An easy-to-use finderscope system which can be used on its own or in conjunction with a series of laminated field guides for finding deep sky objects.
The Telrad projects three concentric circles against the sky where your telescope is pointed, allowing you to find things easily.  The largest (4 degrees) outlines the area covered by many optical finder scopes.  It is easily detachable from its base and the base mounts to any telescope with the included double sided tape.se with ANY finder.

Telrad finder

!
See the sky the way star maps show it.  A Telrad is an excellent finder for larger telescopes which can be used instead of or in addition to a regular finderscope.  The observer looks through a window and sees the reticule glowing in the sky.  A set of red rings enables you to locate faint objects with greater precision.  The target shape has three rings set at apparent diameters of 1/2*, 2* and 4*.

Telrad Base

!
This extra base allows your Telrad to become transferable from one telescope to the next. It attaches to any telescope using double stick tape.

TELRAD BOOKS

!
Each page shows the chart for a different object and includes the Telrad target plus a description of the object.  There is a table of pertinent information on each page for each object, including such items as the object's common name, distance, PA, separation, and right ascension and declination.  The books are plastic comb bound so they open flat and stay there, for easy viewing at the telescope.  They work perfectly with a red torch.  These are the finest star charts available for use with ANY finder.
